Diana Saylak has worked with Great Expectations for 10 years and is currently an Elementary Mathematics Instructional Coach for Coppell ISD in Coppell, Texas. She has been an active member in the development of the district’s Facilitation Framework, Leadership Framework, and Classroom Management Framework. She is also excited to be serving on the visioning committee for the architectural design of the new elementary school in Coppell ISD.
Beginning her career in elementary education in 2004, he has since served as an educator, team leader, instructional coach, professional learning facilitator, and curriculum writer. In the classroom, Diana used Project Based Learning to educate learners in kindergarten through second grade. Now, she trains teachers on the methods of using Project Based Learning in their own classrooms.
Diana enjoys being active on Twitter (@ddsaylak) and writing a weekly Math newsletter ( https:///@dianasaylak ) that highlights various math learning tools and lesson ideas. She has also written multiple iBooks, including “Strip Diagrams” and “What to do with a Rekenrek.”
Diana has a . in Curriculum and Instruction and is in the final stages of earning her . in Educational Leadership. Her current area of research is the transformational process used in school design. After all this hard work, Diana looks forward to fulfilling her dream of becoming a third generation Dr. Saylak.
Pip, a good-natured, gullible young orphan, lives with kind blacksmith Joe Gargery and his bossy, abusive wife 'Mrs. Joe'. Later Pip is invited to became the playmate of Estelle, the equally arrogant adoptive daughter of gloomy, filthy rich Miss Havisham at her estate, who actually has 'permission' to break the kind kid's heart; being the only pretty girl he ever saw, she wins his heart forever, even after a mysterious benefactor pays through a lawyer for his education and a rich allowance, so he can become a snob in London, by now '...
