The best movie about Hitler is certainly Der Untergang aka The Downfall but it centers on the last weeks. I reviewed the two part movie with Robert Carlyle recently Hitler The Rise of Evil that will give you a very good idea of the man himself.
Erich Fromm analyzes him in his book Die Anatomie der menschlichen Destruktivität which is Anatomy of Human Destructiveness in English. The psychologist Alice Miller mentions him often as well.
Here is an excellent link, should you read German.
If not I am sorry, but Alice Miller’s books are translated.
There is a book about the Mitford sisters that mentions Hitler extensively as Unity Mitford was a close friend of his. Mary S. Lovell “The Sisters, The Saga of the Mitford Family”.
Here is another Miller link in English.
A good source would be to look for a biography of Eva Braun, in English.
But start with the movie.
Hopefully you find something you can use.
Cats start with low level “leaving behaviors” and increase the distance and the length of time of leaving until at the extreme they simply move out. First they walk 3 steps away. If that doesn’t work, they walk across the room. If that doesn’t work, they go under a chair or out of reach somewhere. If that doesn’t work, they leave the room. If that doesn’t work they leave the house. At each level they also use “how long” they leave. I mean they walk three steps away and then come back in a minute, or 5 minutes, or an hour, etc. The highest expression of anger is that of moving out of the house, permanently.
